Express Employment Professionals is seeking a full-time Glazer (Automotive Glass Installer) on behalf of a reputable company in Grand Rapids, MN. This union position offers a Monday through Friday schedule and $20-$30/hour with full union benefits after a successful probationary period.
This role focuses on installing, replacing, and cutting automotive glass, including windshields and car windows. Candidates must be skilled with the tools and techniques used for precision glass cutting, as well as experienced in handling and installing auto glass safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and replace auto glass (windshields, side/rear windows)
- Take accurate measurements and cut glass to specification
- Use cutting tools, suction lifters, and power tools
- Apply adhesives and sealants for secure installations
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Required: Previous experience in auto glass installation and using glass-cutting tools
- Experience with measurements, hand tools, and power tools
- Physically able to lift, carry, and maneuver large glass pieces
- Valid driver's license required
