Submission Requirements
- Experience:
- 5 years of RN experience required
- Inpatient psych experience must be within the last 3 months (LTC will not be accepted)
- Psych/Behavioral Health experience and age groups must be listed on resume
- Flexibility:
- Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts
- First-time travelers considered
Profile Requirements
- Resume must include psych experience with age groups listed
- Example: Psych RN – Facility – (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) – DATES
- RTO cannot exceed 7 days and cannot occur in the first 2 weeks of start date
- Psych skills checklist within the last year
- References: 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) required
- Other certifications do not need to be active at submission but candidate must be willing to obtain (include CPI if applicable)

Licensure: Must confirm willingness and eligibility to obtain Vermont RN license
- Patient Populations: Clearly outline experience with each population

RN’s assigned to the Float Pool are responsible for staffing any of Brattleboro Retreat’s 7 inpatient programs:
- Child Psych
- Adolescent Psych
- Adult Psych
- Emerging Adult
- Adult Intensive
- LGBT Psych
- Co-Occurring Disorder / Dual Diagnosis
Licensure & Certification
- BLS (AHA) required
- State License: Vermont RN
- Additional licenses: Must be eligible and willing to obtain
