Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
Compensation: $25–$28 per hour, up to $30 per hour for highly qualified talent

Picture your day: you clock in on a well-organized floor in Itasca, review the day’s build sequence, and get hands-on shaping metal panels into rugged, weather-tight enclosures. You are not welding heavy structure here—our team already fabricates and welds the primary frames. Your craft is the siding and framing that finishes each unit with precision, consistency, and pride.
With about 150 enclosures forecasted—enough work to span up to three years—this role offers steady hours, consistent overtime, and long-term stability as the company brings enclosure siding and framing work in-house to elevate quality, control costs, and tighten schedules.
What you will do
- Assemble metal enclosure siding and framing components to specification
- Cut, bend, drill, and fit metal panels accurately
- Lay out and measure window and door openings with precision
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Operate core fabrication and construction tools such as saws, drills, and grinders
- Uphold quality and safety standards in both indoor and outdoor settings
What you bring
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, fabrication, or a related trade
- Direct siding and framing experience strongly preferred
- Confidence reading mechanical prints and blueprints
- High proficiency with tape measures and dimensional accuracy
- Experience working with metal panels and common shop tools
- Backgrounds from residential construction, manufacturing, metal fabrication, or welding are all welcome
Schedule and overtime
- Standard shift: 6:00 am–2:30 pm
- Peak periods: up to 5:00 am–4:30 pm
- Expect about 20 hours of overtime per week once fully ramped
