Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking
- Maintain general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy in journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to ensure all financial records are accurate
- Assist with preparing financial statements
- Collaborate with team members on technical accounting issues and provide support for audits as needed
- Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in corporate accounting or public accounting preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP
- Must be fluent in Korean and English
- Understanding of financial concepts including bookkeeping, debits & credits, and double-entry bookkeeping
- Excellent math skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
