A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Instrument Test Technician 1. The Instrument Test Technician will be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This position is full-time, 40+ hours per week.

Compensation:

  • Pay rate: $23.00 per hour
  • Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • 401(k) with company match available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on eligibility dates


Highlights:

  • Contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on performance, attendance, and business needs
  • Day shift, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm



Responsibilities:

  • Build, integrate, and understand assembly processes and requirements for production instruments
  • Perform system analysis, testing, and performance optimization on instruments
  • Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, and/or software troubleshooting
  • Analyze test results to determine pass/fail and provide corrective solutions
  • Identify defects and recommend process or design improvements
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and work instructions
  • Provide training to other associates on mechanical and testing activities
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing teams
  • Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and quality policies
  • Perform material handling functions for instrument components and sub-assemblies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and Lean projects
  • Perform other related duties as required


Qualifications:


  • Education:
    • Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or related field, or
    • 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting


  • Skills & Experience:
    • Proficient in instrument testing and data analysis
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools such as torque drivers and gauges
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
    • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
    • Strong math, analytical, and computer skills (Windows environment proficiency required)
    • Experience supporting Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing) initiatives
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
