This position is to assist with development and design for semi permanent to permanent exhibits. You will work with a project manager, not directly with clients although there may be times when direct communication with clients is necessary to assist you with details.
Basic skill include develop initial ideas and concepts for exhibits, considering the overall theme, target audience, and client objectives.
Create detailed layouts, using computer-aided design software and other tools to visualize the exhibit.
Address practical considerations like space limitations, traffic flow, and safety regulations.
Present design concepts and proposals to project manager, using sketches or renderings.
Creativity and Innovation: The ability to think outside the box and develop unique and engaging exhibit designs.
- Strong design skills and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals.
- Proficiency in CAD software, 3D modeling, and other design tools.
- The ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the design and construction process.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, teams, and contractors.
- Understanding of different materials used in exhibit construction and their properties. .
