We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a team on a long-term contract basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in analyzing financial data, preparing insightful reports, and supporting decision-making processes to help achieve organizational goals. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analyses of financial and clinical data trends to provide accurate reporting and comparisons against budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.

• Prepare monthly financial variance reports and support the Manager of Financial Reporting with detailed write-ups.

• Develop and refine routine management reports using data from revenue, payroll, and general ledger systems, ensuring adherence to proper accounting procedures.

• Collaborate with operational departments to maintain and improve reporting specifications, methods, and procedures.

• Research complex accounting issues, prioritize inquiries, and handle special requests from stakeholders.

• Execute special projects assigned by management to enhance process efficiency and overall performance.

• Organize and extract data for analysis, offering recommendations based on comparative assessments and proposed changes.

• Provide monthly reporting and analysis of grant and restricted fund activities.

• Assist in the preparation of operating and capital budgets, as well as month-end close and regulatory filings.

• Support administrative functions related to accounting systems and perform other duties as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or three years of progressive work-related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting roles.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis, and fixed asset accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
• Advanced computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all work activities.
