Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience working with visually impaired students in school settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficiency in adapting curriculum and materials for accessibility
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and Braille
- Organizational skills to balance documentation and individualized instruction
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to students with visual impairments, fostering academic and functional skill development
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to support each student's unique needs
- Adapt curriculum, create accessible materials, and support the use of technology in the classroom
