The Communications Representative will support day-to-day communications initiatives, ensuring consistent brand voice across internal and external channels. You will draft and edit content, coordinate press and stakeholder outreach, track campaign performance, and assist with events and announcements. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality, on-time work.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and proofread press releases, briefs, newsletters, web copy, and stakeholder updates.

  • Coordinate media lists, outreach, interview logistics, and briefing materials.

  • Maintain communications calendars, message matrices, and approval workflows.

  • Monitor coverage, compile reports, and summarize insights for leadership.

  • Support event communications (invites, run-of-show, talking points, follow-ups).

  • Ensure brand consistency and message alignment across all materials.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and People teams on internal communications.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 1–3 years of professional communications experience in an agency, corporate, or nonprofit setting.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with media relations practices and basic analytics/reporting.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort working cross-functionally.

  • Proficiency with standard office and content tools (e.g., MS Office/Google Workspace; basic CMS familiarity is a plus).
