Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage office operations, maintain organization, and support various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent multitasking abilities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain office files and ensure proper use of digital tools, including OneDrive, for document management.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies to maintain a well-stocked and functional workspace.
• Perform data entry tasks and ensure accuracy in administrative records and reports.
• Provide front desk support by answering inbound calls and managing receptionist duties.
• Assist with scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars for team members.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create, edit, and manage documents and spreadsheets.
• Ensure the office environment remains organized and conducive to productivity.
• Collaborate with team members to adapt to various protocols and processes.
• Support inventory management and tracking to meet office needs.
• Handle additional administrative duties as assigned to support overall operations.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Previous experience in administrative assistance, preferably in a government or similar setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt to diverse work environments and protocols.
• Experience with digital file management systems, such as OneDrive.
• Familiarity with basic office equipment and general office operations.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
