Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:
- 16-week assignment starting 05/11
- Rotating shifts
- 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Surgical Technology/Operating Room Tech training program
- NBSTSA CST or NCCT certification (or proof of program completion)
- Current BLS/HCP certification (AHA required)
- Three or more years of full-time staff experience as a CST/ORT in a large medical center (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma) before any travel positions
- Experience in general surgery required; trauma, orthopedics (total joints), GYN, ENT, neuro, and cardiac experience highly preferred
- Valid licensure and certifications throughout the contract
- Compliance documentation due 10 days prior to start; RTO not permitted for initial contract
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery with accuracy and efficiency
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, following best practices
- Ensure instruments and supplies are maintained and sterile
- Collaborate across specialties in trauma, ortho, neuro, cardiac, and other complex cases
- Maintain rigorous safety and compliance standards
