What You’ll Do
As a Social Worker in our Caregiver Relief Services Program, you will provide structured, high-quality support to families caring for a child with developmental or intellectual disabilities. This role offers a steady pace, clear expectations, and established procedures that guide your work.
You will:
- Provide in-home and community-based caregiver support
- Conduct intake meetings, needs assessments, and service planning
- Evaluate caregiver stress and provide guidance, follow-up, or referrals
- Support families accessing resources (including APD iBudget Waiver)
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with a supportive team and community partners
- Participate in scheduled case reviews, team meetings, and training
- Assist in data tracking and reporting to program leadership
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to urgent needs when required
- Promote dignity, inclusion, and empowerment in every interaction

Requirements:
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required
- Strong written & verbal communication skills required
- Florida Social Work License (LCSW or similar) preferred
- Experience supporting children with disabilities or family support services
- Knowledge of local social service resources

Schedule
- Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Some evenings/weekends may be required based on family needs) - Includes both office-based and in-home visits
