The Infectious Disease Physician will deliver consultative services in the field of infectious diseases within a collaborative academic medical environment. This role involves inpatient care and may include specialized areas such as musculoskeletal infections and HIV management. Responsibilities also encompass participation in educational initiatives, clinical or translational research, and antimicrobial stewardship efforts. Candidates must possess board certification or eligibility in Infectious Diseases and will receive a competitive salary along with benefits at a leading research and healthcare institution.
Our organization is currently inviting applications for full-time Infectious Disease Physicians, with positions commencing in July 2026. The ideal applicants will demonstrate exceptional communication abilities, experience in multidisciplinary team settings, and a strong dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
This role includes providing consultative care on a General Infectious Diseases inpatient service, which comprises Advanced Practice Professionals and ID fellows. The position offers opportunities to engage in educational activities for learners at all levels and to participate in clinical or translational research initiatives. Depending on individual interests and training, there are additional opportunities to work on specialized services such as musculoskeletal infections, HIV inpatient care, transplant ID services, inpatient telemedicine consultations for rural healthcare facilities, and involvement in antimicrobial stewardship programs.

The research division is ranked among the top 10 nationally, featuring strong programs in quality improvement, bioinformatics, and personalized medicine. The successful candidate will join a dynamic division with over 60 full-time faculty members and 14 Infectious Diseases fellows, supported by dedicated Infectious Diseases pharmacists.
