Radiologic Technologist Position Details\nRTO Request Limit: 3 Days\nBlock Scheduling: No\nEpic Experience: Required\nCertifications Not In-Hand: Candidate must indicate willingness to obtain in the application packet\nNon-Billable Hours: 24 hours\n\nSchedule\nMonday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM\n\nBreaks: 90 minutes\n\nCertifications & Education Required\nCertifications:\n\nARRT Radiography\n\nARRT Computed Tomography (CT)\n\nBLS or BLS-I\n\nEducation: Certificate in Radiologic Technology\n\nExperience\nMinimum of 1 year experience in Radiology required\n\nLess than 1 year of CT experience preferred\n\nRequired Skills & Competencies\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills required due to frequent interaction with physicians, patients, visitors, departmental staff, and nursing staff.\n\nAbility to obtain, present, and discuss clinical information related to job duties regularly.\n\nMust be able to provide clear instructions and directions to maintain goodwill and cooperation among all contacts.\n\nAbility to work independently and under pressure while contributing effectively as a team member.\n\nDemonstrates exceptional customer service skills at all times.\n\nAble to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, stressful environment with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.\n\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills.\n\nProfessional demeanor when interacting with patients, families, coworkers, volunteers, and physicians.\n\nCompliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards is mandatory.\n\nCompetent in all CT procedures, including patient positioning, exposure factors, radiation safety, and quality control testing per ACR and manufacturer recommendations.\n\nSolid understanding of anatomy and pathology as it relates to image quality and procedure performance.
