We are seeking a Territory Account Manager to support the continued growth of both brands within a defined region in the Northeastern U.S. This is a newly created role designed for a high-performing sales professional who thrives on building relationships, driving revenue, and executing strategic regional growth plans.


This position blends business development, account management, regional strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional customer service and measurable results.


Responsibilities

  • Represent the core values of both City Rent A Truck and City Truck Equipment in all interactions
  • Prospect new business for both rental and upfitting services
  • Maintain and grow an existing book of business
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current accounts
  • Partner cross-functionally with departments to ensure customer commitments are met
  • Represent both brands at trade shows, customer visits, and industry networking events
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Leadership on targeted regional campaigns
  • Stay informed on competitive activity and trends within the truck rental and vocational upfitting industries
  • Support national account relationships in coordination with other sales team members
  • Travel to customer sites as needed
  • Perform related administrative tasks


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience-Preferred
  • Experience in truck rental, equipment rental, fleet services, or vocational upfitting -Preferred
  • Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business
  • Strong negotiation skills and technical aptitude
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs., conduct vehicle walk-arounds, and stand for extended periods
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred


Schedule & Travel

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required based on workload and project timelines.
  • Overnight and same-day travel is expected and includes trade shows, customer visits, and prospecting. Hotel, airfare, and meal stipend are covered by the company.
