About the Role:

The Food and Beverage position at Avery Ranch Golf Club is a dynamic role focused on delivering exceptional beverage service to golf course patrons in an efficient and friendly manner. The primary goal is to enhance the overall guest experience by providing timely and courteous service directly to customers, ensuring guests remain refreshed and satisfied throughout their game. This role requires mobility, attention to detail, and the ability to manage inventory and cash transactions accurately while maintaining a clean and organized cart. The Food and Beverage team member will act as a brand ambassador for Avery Ranch Golf Club, promoting a welcoming atmosphere and upholding the club’s high standards of hospitality. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to guest satisfaction and the club’s reputation by combining excellent service with operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by local alcohol service laws.
  • Previous experience in customer service or food and beverage service is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a motorized bar cart safely on varied terrain.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a golf club or similar hospitality environment.
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TABC and Food Handlers).
  • Knowledge of beverage products including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina to be on feet and maneuver the cart for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the bar cart safely and efficiently throughout the golf course, serving beverages and light snacks to guests.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked cart, ensuring all products are fresh and presented attractively.
  • Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, providing receipts and managing transactions responsibly.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to requests and providing information about menu items.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying the age of guests when necessary.
