Processing Specialist
The Processing Specialist position is responsible for accurately placing labels, book pockets and other requested material on books.
Essential Functions:
- Execute the correct placement of labels, pockets or additional requested information on books.
- Maintain the ability to move fingers, hands and arms in coordinated with book placement to verify positions of labels and other requested materials
Work Hours
- Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm*
*Mandatory Overtime (Based on work flow)
Monday-Friday 5:00am-7:00am
Saturday 7:00a-12:00p
Required Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Daily reliable transportation
- Stand in place for 120 minutes at a time.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Physical Requirements:
- Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
- Lifting and exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting
- Visual Acuity - Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: reading and interpreting pick lists/invoices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing factory
Education:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
