We offer a comprehensive range of services, including substance use groups, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), psychiatry, mental health therapy, cognitive therapy, life skills classes and care coordination.

Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Therapist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to individuals facing substance use disorders, mental illness and related challenges, including trauma and grief. You will maintain a supportive caseload, conducting individual therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs. As part of a collaborative approach, you will communicate client progress to supervising officers as needed, ensuring a seamless integration of care for our clients who may be mandated to engage in treatment through various agencies, such as parole or probation.

As a Clinical Therapist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to deliver comprehensive wrap-around care that meets the diverse needs of our clients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in developing integrated treatment plans that foster healing and support recovery.

You will conduct individual and group therapy sessions, facilitate assessments, and maintain thorough documentation to track client progress. By leveraging a collaborative approach, you will help clients navigate their recovery journey, empowering them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Your contributions will be vital in creating a supportive environment where clients feel valued and understood as they work towards lasting change.

Education

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
  • Licensed with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as: LCSW, LPC, or LAC (preferred), LMFT, LPCC, CAC II or CAC II also accepted

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive case management from initial assessment through to discharge.
  • Implement clinical procedures that align with best practices and quality standards.
  • Develop and update substance use treatment curricula grounded in evidence-based practices.
  • Create individualized treatment and recovery plans that resonate with clients' unique goals.
  • Facilitate engaging group and individual therapy sessions while ensuring accurate therapeutic documentation.
  • Lead substance use intensive outpatient (IOP) groups on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 AM to 11 AM.
  • Conduct intake assessments to determine the specific needs of clients.
  • Serve as a liaison with community partners to enhance collaborative support.
  • Communicate regularly with referring agencies regarding clients' attendance, participation, progress, and any treatment concerns.
  • Prepare and share monthly reports with referring agencies to ensure transparency and ongoing collaboration.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure or candidacy for licensure in Colorado as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LAC.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing therapy for both substance use disorders and mental health conditions.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and best practices for integrated care.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment to coordinate client care.
  • Strong skills in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Previous experience facilitating group therapy sessions (preferred).
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds and needs of clients.
  • A passion for promoting recovery and resilience in individuals facing behavioral health challenges.
  • Experience working with Justice Involved Populations (preferred).
