We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Quality Engineer to join our world-class team!
Primary Responsibilities
The Sr. Quality Engineer coordinates, administers, and performs the quality function of an engineering and technical nature to ensure product quality and reliability at minimum quality costs. Assumes a responsible leadership role in the successful launch of new programs. Serves as the main quality point of contact for intracompany and external customers. Leads technical support and resolution of quality- related issues.
· Communicate customer program specific quality requirements to internal stake-holders
· Work with internal production quality department to ensure compliance to all required quality standards including customer specific requirements
· Interface with external customers as the single point contact for issue resolution
· Use 8D methodology to find root cause of problems for automotive related systems and components
· Responsible for coordinating the preparation and on-time delivery of supplier AQP deliverables
· Provide consultation upon request for quality system gap-analysis, benchmarking, and/or customer complaints
· Train plant personnel on quality systems as required
· Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education & Experience:
· Must have at least 10 years of experience and/or training in automotive Tier 1 or 2, ideally with mechanical or electro mechanical products; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, or computer science is preferred
· Knowledge of quality and Environmental Systems including TS16949, and ISO14001; Auditing experience and certification
· Knowledge of AIAG standards (PPAP, MSA, FMEA, LPA)
· Proficient in Microsoft office
· Exceptional project management skills
· Must understand the fundamentals of automotive component validation testing
· Strong communication skills
