We are on the lookout for a full-time Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) who enjoys being part of a family-like atmosphere. Our office is in search of an experienced massage therapist to become a member of our expanding team. The perfect candidate is friendly, dedicated to building strong relationships with each client, and has experience addressing a range of physical conditions through massage therapy. A great perk is that you will be compensated even when you are not treating a patient.
Compensation:
$25 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Offer general wellness maintenance advice to clients such as stretching and strengthening techniques
- Oversee client plans and treatment progression, and maintain accurate treatment records
- Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment
- Use therapeutic massage techniques to deliver a safe and exceptional customer experience that meets their needs and desired results
- Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development
- Perform a variety of massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, sports massage) tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.
- Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess needs, discuss health history, and identify any contraindications.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for self-care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment space.
- Adhere to all state and local licensing and sanitation regulations.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and reflexology
- Preference to candidates who have completed a massage therapy program
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be excellent at communication and interpersonal relationships
- +1 years of massage therapy experience
