We are seeking a skilled assembler to join our team, specializing in the assembly of products used for fluid hydraulic systems. The role involves utilizing small hand and power tools to complete assemblies, following basic instructions and blueprints, conducting visual inspections of parts, and bagging and packaging products according to work orders. You will also be responsible for packaging and staging finished assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products used for fluid hydraulic systems.
• Utilize small hand and power tools such as air press for assembly tasks.
• Read and interpret basic instructions and blueprints from computers and hard copies.
• Conduct visual inspection of parts to ensure quality standards.
• Bag and package products in accordance with work orders.
• Package and stage finished assemblies for shipment.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Strong work ethic and personable nature.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using power and hand tools.
• Assembly experience.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Comfortable navigating computers.
• Strong documentation skills.

Work Environment

The role is based in a quiet, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with safety glasses provided. The assembly and machine shop are housed in different buildings within the new facility. The position involves working the first shift, Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with optional overtime usually available after shifts or on weekends. The dress code requires safety toe shoes/boots that are slip and oil resistant, with reimbursement up to $130 upon providing a receipt.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
