Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position, based in Kansas City, KS, involves providing physical therapy services in a K-12 school setting to cover a maternity leave from March 6, 2026, through May 22, 2026. The role requires flexibility and the ability to travel to multiple schools within the district, creating a personalized schedule to deliver efficient and effective PT services throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services across various schools, adapting to the needs of K-12 students.
- Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student health and therapy goals.
- Manage travel and schedule independently, ensuring comprehensive coverage across assigned schools.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school policies.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals.
- Previous experience working with children in educational or clinical environments preferred.
