In this role, you'll assemble mechanical and electrical components, perform wiring tasks, read blueprints and schematics, and help build high-quality equipment from start to finish. What You'll Do

• Assemble speed dryers, wash arms, pump stands, and other car wash equipment according to production specifications.
• Install hoses, fittings, brackets, and mechanical components using hand and power tools.
• Perform electrical assembly, including panel wiring, wiring harness installation, and component wiring.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Measure and fit components using tape measures and other hand tools.
• Organize and kit materials to ensure efficient production workflow.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Package and prepare finished products for testing, shipment, or further production processes.
• Support manufacturing, assembly, testing, and shipping departments as production needs change.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or mechanical experience.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to follow work instructions, assembly drawings, or blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Reliable work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical assembly or wiring experience.
• Experience with panel wiring or wiring harnesses.
• Blueprint or schematic reading experience.
• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, automotive, or production environments.
• Familiarity with electrical or hydraulic systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grimes, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
