In this role, you'll assemble mechanical and electrical components, perform wiring tasks, read blueprints and schematics, and help build high-quality equipment from start to finish. What You'll Do
- Assemble speed dryers, wash arms, pump stands, and other car wash equipment according to production specifications.
- Install hoses, fittings, brackets, and mechanical components using hand and power tools.
- Perform electrical assembly, including panel wiring, wiring harness installation, and component wiring.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Measure and fit components using tape measures and other hand tools.
- Organize and kit materials to ensure efficient production workflow.
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Package and prepare finished products for testing, shipment, or further production processes.
- Support manufacturing, assembly, testing, and shipping departments as production needs change.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or mechanical experience.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to follow work instructions, assembly drawings, or blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Reliable work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical assembly or wiring experience.
- Experience with panel wiring or wiring harnesses.
- Blueprint or schematic reading experience.
- Mechanical assembly experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, automotive, or production environments.
- Familiarity with electrical or hydraulic systems.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grimes, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
