Job Description Summary Ellie's Academy is is looking to an Assistant Teacher, for their Edison location; The assistant teacher is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment for all children within their care. The job description of an Assistant Teacher should entail, but not be limited to the following:

<li>understand and support the program</li>
<li>interact closely with children at their level</li>
<li>keep children within sight and sound at all times</li>
<li>communicate effectively professionally with center staff, parents children</li>
<li>comply in all respects with all applicable laws and regulations relating to childcare</li>
</ul>
 Duties The job of an Assistant Teacher may also include establishing a positive family relations, maintain professional commitment, maintain safe and sanitary classrooms, support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance. Requirements Minimum 1 year experience Nice To Haves
