Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist is needed to provide specialized assessment services for students with significant disabilities, including non-verbal, physically impaired, or those using augmentative communication devices. This position is based in Kansas City, KS, and requires in-person work within the school district from August 12, 2026, through May 21, 2027.
This role involves traveling between multiple school sites to conduct evaluations and support students across all grade levels, K-12. Candidates should be comfortable working with diverse caseloads and have experience conducting comprehensive psychological testing tailored to students with intense disabilities. Additional caseload information will be provided during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students with complex disabilities.
- Interpret test results and provide clear, detailed reports.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate educational plans.
- Travel between multiple school locations within the district.
- Maintain compliance with educational and psychological testing standards.
