- Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Oversee daily operations including receiving, shipping, cycle counting, restocking, binning, and general inventory management.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, condition, and compliance with company standards.
- Perform hands-on warehouse tasks as needed to support team performance and meet operational goals.
- Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout to optimize space and workflow.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members on warehouse procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
- Perform and reconcile regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to resolve inventory or order discrepancies.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Enforce compliance with all safety, quality, and operational policies.
- Track and report daily activities, productivity, and performance metrics to management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
- 1–2 years of experience in a leadership, lead, or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and restocking.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a physically active environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Warehousing, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Forklift certification and familiarity with RF scanners.
