Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Clerk to join our team. As an integral part of our administrative operations, the Office Clerk will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of our office. This position requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both electronic and paper documents.
- Assist with data entry and update various databases as required.
- Perform routine office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and printing documents.
- Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as an office clerk or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
