Salary Range: 75-90K
The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of MMBC’s salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.

We are a dynamic, patient-focused medical billing organization providing multi-specialty services, with a strong emphasis on Radiation Oncology (Photon and Proton therapy). We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to lead our AR operations, streamline processes, and ensure optimal financial performance.
Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee all AR functions, with a heavy focus on Radiation Oncology billing and collections. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IDX and/or Imagine billing software, and exposure to Epic and Aria is a strong plus. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-specialty environment and can effectively manage AR workflows, staff, and payer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily AR operations across multiple specialties, with a focus on Radiation Oncology (Photon and Proton therapy).
- Supervise AR staff, ensuring accurate claim submission, timely follow-up, and resolution of denials.
- Monitor AR aging and develop strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to address billing and documentation issues.
- Leverage IDX and/or Imagine billing software for AR management; utilize Epic and Aria for workflow integration when applicable.
- Generate and analyze AR and revenue cycle reports; present trends, KPIs, and recommendations to leadership.
- Implement best practices to improve AR processes and optimize cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with payer requirements, coding guidelines, and internal policies.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to AR team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of progressive AR/revenue cycle experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong background in Radiation Oncology billing (Photon and Proton), preferred.
- Hands-on experience with IDX and/or Imagine billing software, preferred.
- Experience with Epic and Aria, preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced functions.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
