Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support students in a dynamic school environment with flexible, per diem instructional aide opportunities in Fremont, CA. These roles focus on providing compassionate, individualized assistance to students on a 1:1 basis, helping them succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver academic and behavioral support to students in classroom settings
- Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance under teacher and staff guidance
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation
- Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18
- Current TB test per school requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
- Clearance compliance or willingness to obtain prior to starting
Preferred Experience:
- Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Certification or training such as CPI, PMT, or RBT is advantageous but not mandatory
- Reliable, patient, and collaborative work style
Location:Fremont, CA School-based per diem position with shifts assigned based on coverage needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
