Job Description

We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator II - Labor Compliance Analyst (LACCD 499) for our contract with Los Angeles Community College District.

We are accepting applications for this position through 2/3 @ 9am

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Simplex is required.

This is an on-site, long term job. You must be located in Southern California. NO relocation funds, and NO per diem.

Salary Range: $80K - $90K


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in public works construction.
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree or related degree from a recognized college or university. Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.
  • Must have a clear understanding of construction practices, state and federal labor laws, and the ability to interpret and apply the applicable labor law regulations in accordance with the DIR and the BuildLACCD Program standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess valid California driver’s license and able to travel to LACCD campuses.
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Labor Compliance and LCPtracker
  • Bi-lingual - Spanish speaking.

Compensation:
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors such as individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
