Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A critical role in cardiovascular care involves supporting cardiac catheterization procedures by proficiently operating imaging technology in the Cath Lab. This position requires a detailed understanding of cardiac and vascular physiology, pathology, and the ability to recognize and respond to ECG changes and arrhythmias effectively.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Solid knowledge of cardiac, vascular, respiratory, and renal physiology and pathology.
- Proficiency in ECG interpretation, including recognition of waveform morphology and lethal arrhythmias.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Familiarity with cardiac medications, their pharmacokinetics, indications, and documentation.
- Ability to monitor and assist in diagnostic cardiac catheter procedures and percutaneous interventions.
- Experience in calculating hemodynamic parameters and recording catheterization events.
- Knowledge of angiographic imaging techniques and intervention devices.
- Capability to participate in clinical committees and assist in orienting Cath Lab staff.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with orientation and training of Cath Lab staff.
- Monitor diagnostic cardiac catheterization and percutaneous interventions.
- Utilize and maintain Cath Lab fluoroscopy systems for optimal physician visualization.
- Recognize and promptly respond to cardiac emergencies with ACLS protocols.
- Document procedures, medications, and patient data accurately.
- Participate in special projects and clinical committees relevant to the Cath Lab.
