Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Location: Edison, NJ
Type of Employment: Permanent
In Office/Hybrid/Remote: 4 Days/Week in Office, 1 Day/Week Remote After 6 months
Hourly: $25/hr
Job Summary:
A wellness distributor in Edison, NJ is looking to hire a Purchasing Coordinator on a permanent basis. This role is fully in office 4 days a week and 1 day a week remote after 6 months of employment. The qualified candidate must have at least 1 year of purchasing experience from a consumer packaged goods organization and ideally will have experience using an ERP system. The hourly rate is $25/hr and the hours are Monday through Friday 9AM to 5:30PM with a 30 minute break.

Responsibilities:
· Work with established vendors to procure items for customers
· Enter purchase orders into SageX3 for processing
· Follow up on order status to ensure timely delivery
· Work with the logistics teams to provide product arrival updates
· Team up with the finance team as well to verify invoices and payment schedules
Required Experience:

High School Diploma

At least 1 year of corporate purchasing experience from a consumer packaged goods organization

Experience using an ERP system. Sage experience a plus

Knowledge of logistics processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus in Excel
