Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in a Medical Intensive Care Unit. The RN will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to ICU patients with high-acuity medical and respiratory conditions
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and ventilated patients
- Manage drips including vasoactive and cardiac medications
- Care for patients with conditions such as stroke, respiratory failure, cardiac issues, renal failure, and sepsis
- Perform central line, arterial line, and IV therapy management
- Respond to emergencies and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
- Float to appropriate units within scope as needed
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- Experience with ventilators, cardiac monitoring, and critical care drips
- Ability to work every other weekend
