What You’ll Do:
- Lead the delivery of high-quality resident care
- Manage a team of nurses overseeing caregiving teams and day-to-day support
- Supervise and coach nursing staff
- Conduct resident assessments and guide care planning
- Promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being
- Ensure compliance with clinical regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond to urgent needs across assigned facility areas
- Foster a professional and positive care environment
- Uphold and promote the mission and core values of American Baptist Homes of the Midwest
What You’ll Need:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Colorado RN license or Compact RN license
- 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience required
- 2+ years of experience as a DON or ADON preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in gerontological nursing, with a background in rehabilitative and restorative care
- Strong critical thinking, sound independent judgment, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- A compassionate, resident-centered clinical approach
