Hiring for a Medical Call Center Rep for a healthcare clinic in Chestnut Hill, MA
No parking available. Public transit or option to take a shuttle from the main campus in Boston to this location in Chestnut Hill.
Pay: $26/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years recent medical call center representative experience in a healthcare clinic required
- Experience with Epic is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Act as a super used for scheduling, registration, and billing systems
- Schedule and rescheduling patient appointments in accordance with established guidelines
- Answer and triage incoming telephone calls
- Conducts appointment confirmation calls
- May perform more complex or specialized functions (such as surgical scheduling) at highest competency level
- Utilize knowledge of HMOs, managed care, and other third-party insurers, and troubleshoot insurance issues as appropriate
- Obtain new patient information
- Assist with obtaining appropriate referral information
- Provide cross coverage for the front desk as needed – greet patients, check-in/check-out, payment collection
- Follow HIPAA guidelines
- Other administrative duties as assigned
