A specialty pharmacy in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a contract opportunity of 13+ weeks. This role offers a blend of retail and long-term care responsibilities, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and dispense medications in both retail and long-term care settings
- Provide patient counseling and immunizations as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts as required
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Pharmacist License
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification
- Immunization certification and CPR certification
- Experience in both retail and long-term care pharmacy practice preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Possible rotating weekend shifts
