Position Summary:
A Building Substitute is responsible for carrying out the duties of the teacher in their absence.
Major Responsibilities
- We are specifically seeking teachers with experience and the ability to adapt to diverse teaching environments while remaining an effective facilitator.
- This position involves facilitating, educating students and maintaining control of the classroom.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to keep students focused and on task are a prerequisite for the position.
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a lead teacher, excellent verbal and communication skills, patience, strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and has a passion for instilling knowledge in the students and schools we serve.

Certification requirement

- PA Certification (preferred)
Experience Requirement
- At least two (2) years of building substitute teaching experience (required) or relevant
Clearances and Other Requirements
Must have the following clearances:
- Updated Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Clearance/ Fingerprints
- Act 34
- Act 168
- 2-Step TB Test
- Act 24
Other required documents include:
