Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional that understands and can perform basic tasks associated with accounts payable and receivable accounts. Responsible for organizing, processing, and maintaining AR and AP financial records. An interest in proper record-keeping, the accounting clerk would lead in their daily responsibilities and communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal departments. It's very important to have a person in this position that will have strong attendance to complete day to day accounting functions and support administrative processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Accounting
· Manage AR/AP inbox, including leading customer requests for invoice copies and payment status.
· AR Invoice Process
o Collect and verify necessary documents
o Confirm and invoice within software (Mie Trak)
o Submit invoices to customers
· AR Cash Application Process
o Review bank statement for receivables and compare with remittances
o Apply payment in accounting software (Mie Trak)
o Communicate and resolve discrepancies with payments
· AP Bill Entry
o Enter supplier invoices
o Collect and verify necessary documents (PO, receiver)
o Resolve discrepancies independently
· AP Bill Payments
o Managing Portal Suppliers
o Weekly Check/ ACH Run
· Aging (AR & AP) Updates and discrepancies
o Lead in collection activities
o Keep supplier accounts current and up-to-date
· Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers and intercompany departments
· Follow proper filing procedures
Required Skills/Abilities:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

Education and Experience:
- Associate's Accounting Degree preferred or 2-5 years combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, is also acceptable.
Physical Requirements:
- Office environment
- Must be able to sit for long periods
Pay and Compensation:
Base Compensation: $25 - $30 and up, dependent upon experience
