We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to technical specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Operate CNC machines (2-Axis tube cutter and Sheet Metal) to produce parts according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
- Robotics Welder: Understanding of OTC robotics welding.
- Setup and Calibration: Set up machines, including installing tools, loading materials, and programming CNC machinery as required.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to verify compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with machines, tools, and production processes. Report any malfunctions or defects to supervisors.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and machine logs.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety protocols, including wearing proper protective equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or in a similar role.
- OTC Robotics experience a plus.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CNC programming (e.g., G-code) is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
