Process Engineer | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize and improve existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Design, develop, and implement new production processes and equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and resolve production issues.
- Monitor key process parameters and performance metrics using statistical tools.
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a process engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC) and continuous improvement tools.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot complex process issues, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Experience with process modeling software, data analysis tools, or automation systems relevant to manufacturing operations.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, gPROMS, CHEMCAD)
- Proficiency with industrial automation and control systems (PLCs, SCADA)
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for P&ID and plant layout
- Advanced data analysis skills using statistical software or programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
