Electrical Technician Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a well-known manufacturer who is in search of an Electrical Technician to join their team. The Electrical Technician will independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize electronic systems. The ideal Electrical Technician has multiple years of experience working in manufacturing as an Electrical Technician and has a strong understanding of electrical circuits and systems, including mentoring peers. The Electrical Technician is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Moorpark, CA.
Electrical Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Independently Diagnose Complex Electronic Malfunctions Using Advanced Tools & Schematics
- Develop A Deeper Understanding of Electronic Systems to Efficiently Diagnose Issues
- Perform Advanced Repairs on Electronic Systems, Including Intricate Component Replacement
- Contribute to Replacement Strategies and Recommend Improvements For System Reliability
- Maintain Accurate & Detailed Records of Troubleshooting Process & Repairs
- Generate Comprehensive Technical Reports, Root Caused Analysis & Solutions
- Provide Guidance & Mentorship to Level 1 Technicians
- Assist in Training & Development of Junior Technicians Within The Team
- Actively Identify & Support Process Improvements in Troubleshooting & Repair Workflow
- Collaborate With Senior Technicians to Enhance & Optimize Electronic Systems
- Test and Calibrate Repaired Systems to Ensure Quality & Reliability
- Ensure Adherence to Quality Control Measures & Industry Standards
Electrical Technician Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma Required
- AA Degree or Equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Related Field
- 2+ Years of Electronics Hands-on Troubleshooting & Repair Required
- Proficient in Understanding of Advanced Testing Equipment & Diagnostics
- Must Have Strong Analytical & Problem Solving skills
- Excellent in Communication & Technical Information
- Ability to Collaborate Effectively with Cross Functional Teams
