About the Position
- Revenue Cycle System Analyst
- Full-time 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period)
- Days + Call
- Onsite at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital
Job Summary:
The Revenue System Analyst provides application software support and training in non-clinical areas of Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. They support continued learning and upgrades to software. Collaborate with management and staff to optimize use of the software. Troubleshoot user problems and address the root cause. Serve as a liaison between the user and the vendor or system to effectively communicate the problem or situation. Serve as project manager for the Technical Specialists.
Here's what you'll do when you join us:
- Serve as project manager for selected IT projects within Grand Itasca. Uses project management methodology.
- Provide end-user software training support.
- Create tip sheets and other training guides as needed.
- Develop user requested on demand reports using vendor supplied or third-party software products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all non-clinical systems used in the facility. Understand and train any new updates or functionality.
- Assist with implementing new systems brought in for revenue cycle, go-lives and updates as needed.
- Meet with departments or individual staff to assess their needs and explain how they can best use the system for their situation
- Assigned call for weeknights, holidays, and weekends in an equal rotation with other IT support.
- Serve as level 1 help desk support for IT department which includes technical support of hardware and software. Examples: changing mice, troubleshooting microphones, cables, WOW's, monitors, PC's and laptops, phones, cell phones, and various other systems and hardware.
- Work with the IS team as needed for any go-live or project in the department.

- Ability to analyze systems problems or needs in the medical facility arena, determine the solution, and implementing the solution.
- Possess and display a high level of planning and project management skills.
- Must possess good inter-personal skills, and good oral, written, and presentation communications skills.
- Must have previous experience in a healthcare related field or healthcare organization.
- Degree in computer science or business administration preferred or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work as a team member and independently.
- Ability and willingness to work with computer hardware as well as software.
- Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values.
- Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
