We are seeking a licensed pharmacist to join a high-volume retail pharmacy in Los Alamos. This role is ideal for someone comfortable in a fast-paced setting and interested in a long-term fit.

Schedule Details:

• Candidate must be flexible to start shifts at either 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM

• Pharmacy Hours:
  MondayFriday: 8:30 AM 6:30 PM
  Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM

• Weekend coverage is required on a rotating basis

System Used: PioneerRx

Role Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct the work of pharmacy technicians

• Provide comprehensive patient counseling and customer service

• Conduct verification of USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions
  Note: This is a verification-only role no compounding required

• Manage workflow in a busy pharmacy handling ~600 prescriptions daily

Requirements:

• Active and clear NM Pharmacist License

• Experience with non-sterile compounding preferred

• Strong background in high-volume retail pharmacy is a plus

• Open to recent pharmacy graduates

Short-Term PRN Coverage Needed:

• September 29 October 10

• Week 1 in Los Alamos, Week 2 in Santa Fe
