Weight Loss & Primary Care Practice (Contract)
We are seeking an experienced, polished, and compassionate Concierge Medical Assistant / Receptionist to join our boutique Weight Loss & Primary Care practice. This role is ideal for a certified medical assistant who delivers high-touch service, values discretion, and is passionate about supporting patients on their health and wellness journeys.
Our practice provides personalized, results-driven care in a refined clinical environment, where every patient interaction is intentional, supportive, and professional.
Position Details
• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Contract
• Schedule: 3 days per week
• Typically Monday, Wednesday, Friday (schedule may fluctuate based on patient volume and practice needs)
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Pay Frequency: Weekly
Role Overview
As a Concierge Medical Assistant / Receptionist, you will serve as both the first point of contact and a clinical support professional, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and elevated patient experience from check-in through follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver a warm, professional, and discreet concierge-level front-desk experience
• Manage patient scheduling, phone communications, and check-in/check-out processes
• Perform patient intake and documentation with accuracy and care
• Obtain and record vital signs, weight, BMI, and other clinical measurements
• Assist with blood draws and clinical procedures related to primary care and weight loss services
• Support providers during weight management visits, follow-ups, and routine primary care appointments
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Ensure smooth daily clinic flow while upholding a luxury service standard
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant and/or Medical Receptionist
• Hands-on experience with:
• Front-desk reception in a medical setting
• Patient intake, vitals, and documentation
• Blood draws/phlebotomy
• Valid Medical Assistant certification required
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Professional, calm, and patient-centered demeanor
Preferred Experience
• Experience in weight loss, primary care, or wellness-based practices
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
• Comfort working in a fast-paced yet refined clinical environment
