As a Line Mechanic, you will be the first line of maintenance, responsible for troubleshooting machinery and equipment on the floor. You will handle basic maintenance tasks, conduct small repairs, and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine operation. Testing equipment, checking sensors, and performing mechanical repairs will be part of your daily routine, along with completing tooling repairs and changeovers.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot machinery and equipment on the floor.
- Perform basic maintenance on machines and complete small repairs.
- Make adjustments to machinery as needed.
- Test equipment and check sensors.
- Perform mechanical repairs and tooling repairs.
- Complete changeovers on machinery daily and ensure proper operation post-changeover.
- Conduct quality checks for initial parts post-changeover.
- Adapt to various tasks, such as assembling racking or repairing dies.
- Communicate effectively with various departments, including maintenance, production, engineering, and quality.
- Use hand tools for mechanical tasks and read blueprints as needed.
- Document and write daily reports using a computer.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic computer skills for writing daily reports.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.70 - $24.30/hr.
