Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available at a centralized K-12 school campus in Fremont, CA. This full-time, contract position for the upcoming school year offers the chance to make a significant impact on students' communication development by working closely with educators and families.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language services in individual and small group settings
- Implementing treatment plans and supporting students IEP goals
- Monitoring student progress and adapting sessions as needed
- Collaborating effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Supporting students on a single campus with no travel between sites
Candidates have the flexibility to focus on their preferred age group within the school environment.
Qualifications sought:
- Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred but not mandatory
