$95.00/hr- 4/10 schedule
12-month renewable contract in Palmdale, CA.
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Tool Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
Active secret clearance is required- special access required to start. (P47)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Secret security clearance. Ability to obtain SAP within 6 weeks of submission.
• Minimum 1 year design experience with Catia V5 or 3DX
• Minimum 7 years’ experience designing a variety of assembly tools for aerospace vehicles or similar
• Minimum 1 year creating 2D technical design drawings
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Tool fabrication
Types of tooling:
•Structures assembly, fixtures, drill jigs, lift and move tools
• Authoring tool usage instructions or assembly work instructions
• Manufacturing engineering type production floor support
• Aircraft assembly
• First article builds
• B.S. degree
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

Hourly pay rate is $95.00
