Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manual CNC Machinist with expertise in lathes. This role involves setting up, operating, and editing CNC machines. The ideal candidate will possess strong G code programming skills, particularly with Fanuc controls, and have experience in machining various materials such as steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, brass, and composites.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and edit CNC machines using strong G code programming skills.
- Read, create, edit, and store program files using Fanuc controls.
- Machine parts from materials including steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, brass, and composites.
- Utilize tooling knowledge related to carbide and high-speed steels.
- Set up parts appropriate to machining operations.
- Interpret assembly drawings, detail drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity with CNC lathes and mills.
- Select proper tools and determine machine strategies to avoid unnecessary machining.
- Work from programming instructions, operational data, and machine setup instructions for operations such as bore, mill, drill, face, thread, and occasional profiling and contouring.
- Check own work and inspect parts understanding dimensional and geometric tolerancing.
- Polish and deburr parts as needed.
Essential Skills
- Strong Fanuc programming skills to create, edit, and store program files.
- Ability to read measuring instruments, hold tolerances, and generate surface finishes per prints.
- Experience in operating numerically controlled machines for progressive machining operations.
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift 30-50 pounds regularly.
- Compliance with all safety and regulatory procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of relevant training/experience.
- Ability to operate manual machine tools.
- Use of pneumatic, battery, and electric powered hand tools.
- Capability to run more than one unit simultaneously.

Work Environment
This role operates in a shop/manufacturing environment with a standard shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility for earlier starts or later finishes based on needs. Uniforms are provided, and safety regulations must be followed at all times.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rancocas, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
