A healthcare facility in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a registered nurse with specialized skills in pediatric behavioral health and medical-surgical nursing for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both behavioral/psychiatric nursing and med-surg experience, preferably with pediatric patients.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN license to practice in Missouri
- Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience
- Certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience in behavioral/psychiatric nursing and medical-surgical nursing
- Pediatric experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care on pediatric behavioral health and medical-surgical units
- Manage patient care with ratios typically between 1:3 and 1:4, consistent with inpatient unit standards
- Administer treatments, assess patient progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Shift Information:
- Night shift, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
