We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Sandusky, Ohio. This Contract to permanent position requires an individual who can efficiently manage billing operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, particularly in the construction industry, and will possess excellent customer service skills.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly billing sheets for submission to the Construction Manager, ensuring all data is accurate and complete.

• Collaborate with the Contract Department and branch offices to gather necessary documents and resolve discrepancies.

• Review contracts and purchase orders to confirm prices and terms for each project.

• Set up jobs and schedule billing values for lump sum invoicing as needed.

• Generate, print, and post invoices using various platforms, including All-Share and Textura.

• Scan billing packets and credit memos into the document management system, ensuring timely submission to customers.

• Process pencil jobs and meet monthly billing deadlines for platforms such as Textura, GC Pay, and Procore.

• Verify billing requirements and gather missing information to complete pay requests.

• Customize invoices using customer-specific forms or standard company documents as required.

• Address customer inquiries and collaborate with Accounts Receivable Associates to resolve issues promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of billing experience, with a focus on business-to-business transactions.
• Previous experience in the construction industry is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong customer service skills and a willingness to adapt to new systems and processes.
• Ability to build positive relationships across various levels of the organization.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results within deadlines.
